Join us in Olympia,WA on February 2nd, 2023, for WSNA’s Lobby Day. CWRNA will help pay for your gas!

Legislative Session in Olympia starts January 9th and legislators need to hear directly from nurses about what’s really happening at the bedside. Nurses are understaffed, hospitals aren’t listening, and patient safety is at risk.
Join us in Olympia on February 2nd for WSNA’s Lobby Day and meet with legislators to tell them what it is like to be a nurse in Washington right now.  For the first time since 2020, Lobby Day will be in person. We need you there speaking on behalf of all nurses, your patients, and your communities. The deadline to register for Lobby Day is December 23rd so please do not wait, register as soon as you know can attend.
Our fight for safe staffing is not over. Advocacy does not end at the bedside, this is a fight we must take to the Capitol steps.
For more information about Lobby Day, advocacy, or the upcoming legislative session please reach out to Jessica Hauffe, WSNA’s Political Advocacy Manager, at jhauffe@wsna.org. For more information about gas reimbursement, contact Judi Lyons at homeatu2@gmail.com.
