• 2026 elections:

  December 11, 2025: And we have winners! We want to congratulate Julia Barcott, RN, for being elected upcoming President, and Jacob Garcia, RN, for being elected upcoming Secretary, and Susie Cervantes, RN, for upcoming At-Large Board member.

  We also want to thank Christina Nyirati, RN, for her willingness to serve and to run for At-Large Board member. We just might tap you for project work if you’re willing.

The following Board members will continue their terms in 2026:
Vice-President: Janna Hagarty
Treasurer: Kay Greenwood
Current Directors At-Large: Julia Barcott and Lori Bethay

The continuing Board members will shepard the new Board members to become successful leaders. This is a great opportunity to learn and develop leadership skills in a safe environment, and allow further the development of our growing region of professional nurses. 

The Board has many respon­si­bil­i­ties, including ensuring that the prior­i­ties adopted in the CWRNA Bylaws are incor­po­rated into each project we undertake. The Board also approves the budget for CWRNA. Board members act as ambas­sadors for CWRNA, repre­senting the associ­a­tion to the Yakima and Kittitas County nurses and other organi­za­tions as appropriate.
